Academic Planning Committee

The Academic planning can be defined as decision making process leading to a balanced development and effective management of educational programs while ensuring judicious utilization of the available resources in order to realize the vision and mission of the institution.

• Support institutional strategic and academic planning and decision making through the analysis, presentation and distribution of relevant and timely information ,policy analysis and projection of future trends like enrolment projection, staff workload analysis
• Co-ordinate academic planning Processes such as development of units and courses, review of existing courses, assessment of academic program, student learning etc.
• Facilitate the flow of information between staff and various academic and non academic units
• Respond to internal and external requests for information.
• Ensure departmental activities fit in with the institutional strategic plan.
